Sania Mirza Moves To Second Round In Acura Classic

Indian tennis star, Sania Mirza , beat former world no. 11 Meghan Shaughnessy in the first round of Acura Classic at San Diego, California. Sania Mirza won the game in straight-set 6-3, 6-1 in just over an hour. The Hyderabadi will now face Katarina Srebotnik of Slovakia. Sania and her South African partner Liezel Huber had earlier moved into the second round with a 6-0, 6-4 win over Canadian-Slovak pair of Maurin Drake and Tina Krizan they will now play Russia's Anna Chakvetadze and Jill Craybas of the US.
