Australia beats India in the 12th ODI of the Champions Trophy by 6 wickets. The match was played in jab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali - Chandigarh where India won the toss Elected To Bat. India scored 249 for 8 in 50 overs. Australia then batted to 252 for 4 in just over 45 overs to win the match. The Man of the Match was Damien Martyn for his batting performance scoring 73 runs which included 8 fours. For India V Sehwag scored 65 runs, R Dravid scored 52.

West Indies beats Australia in the 4th ODI of the Champions Trophy by 3 wickets. The match was played in Kinrara Academy Oval, Kuala Lumpur where Australia won the toss Elected To Bat. Australia scored 272 for 6 in 50 overs. West Indies then batted to 273 for 7 in just over 47 overs to win the match. The Man of the Match was Michael Hussey for his batting performance scoring 109 runs which included 10 fours and 3 sixes.

Pakistan beats Sri Lanka in the 3rd ODI of the Champions Trophy by 4 wickets. The match was played in Sawai Mansingh Stadium (Chogan Stadium), Jaipur where Sri Lanka won the toss Elected To Bat. Pakistan bowled out Sri Lanka for 253 runs. Pakistan then batted to 255 for 6 in just over 48 overs. The Man of the Match was Abdul Razzaq for his bowling performance taking 3 wickets.

New Zealand beats South Africa in the 2nd ODI of the Champions Trophy by 87 runs. The match was played in Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai (Bombay) where South Africa won the toss Elected To Bowl. South Africa bowled out New Zealand for 195 runs. South Africa then batted to score only 108 in just over 34 overs. The Man of the Match was Stephen Fleming for scoring 89 runs.

India beats England in the 1st ODI of the Champions Trophy. The match was played in Sawai Mansingh Stadium (Chogan Stadium), Jaipur where India won the toss Elected To Bowl. India bowled out England for 125 runs in only 37 overs. India then batted to make 126 for 6 in just over 29 overs. The Man of the Match was Munaf Patel for his bowling performance taking 4 wickets and scoring 38 runs to win the match, he hit 2 4s and 2 6s.

Sania Mirza , the Hyderabadi girl, now ranked 55 after beating Martina Hingis and reaching the semi finals of the Sunfeast Open. She climbed four places in the singles rankings. She still maintains 26th place in the doubles rankings.
