Sania Mirza beat Sandra Kloesel of Germany 7-5, 6-3 to move into the quarter finals at the WTA Sunfeast Open played at Kolkata, India. Sania will now play Aravane Rezai from France in the quarter finals.

India beat West Indies by 16 runs to better position them to enter the finals vs West Indies. In will now play Australia, and the winner will play West Indies in the finals of the tri-series match being hosted in Malaysia. India scored only 162 against West Indies, with little mater Sachin Tendulkar scoring 65, but India was able to bowl out West Indies for only 146 to get the much needed win.

India loss the 2nd ODI by 29 runs against West Indies which was played at Kinrara Academy Oval, Kuala Lumpur. The winner was determined using the D/L Method. For India, Sachin Tendulkar, the little master had a great innings, he scored 142 runs which included 13 fours and 5 sixes.
