Former captain Saurav Ganguly to rejoin India cricket squad for matches against PakistanDate: 12/29/2005
Former captain Saurav Ganguly will join the Indian squad in Pakistan after participating in the next round of the national championship. The Indian cricket team will arrive in Lahore on January 5, 2006 and are scheduled to play warm-up match from January 7, 2006 before starting the three-test series.

Virender Sehwag and wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel are scheduled to play for their states in the Ranji Trophy from Jan 3 to Jan 6, after which they will depart to join the Indian squad in Pakistan.
Ganguly has last match was the second test against Sri Lanka in New Delhi two weeks ago in which he scored 40 and 39 in India's 188-run victory.
